As I’m finishing up Mommy & Me and Family photography sessions in my Williamsville studio, I realize Mother’s Day is only a few days away.

If your children are big or small, if this is your first Mother’s day or one of many, do you have a secret list of what you’d love to receive for Mother’s Day?

Is it about getting a certain gift or do you have ‘other’ items on your list?

I like such a large variety of things that I decided to make my own fun Top Ten Mother’s Day Gift list!

First I’ll admit I’m a sucker for certain tangible items. Don’t judge!

1. STACKING RINGS

I’ve seen them pop up in a couple of adds and have seen some people share them on Instagram. Plus, diamonds are a girls best friend and it’s my birthstone and I love these rings from Lunessa Designer Jewelry.

It’s nice to dream but since Mother’s Day is not about breaking the bank, here are some very reasonably priced items.

2. ALEX AND ANI

Ever since they came on the market I’ve been obsessed with these bangles. Many of my friends love the silver but I’ve always been a yellow gold kind of girl.

3. AN AWESOME COFFEE MUG

Do you love Etsy as much as I do?  I can never have enough cups for coffee or tea and I love cups with quotes or fun graphics. I found this really cute cup on etsy.

4. A CUTE POCKET MIRROR

Another Etsy vendor and a friend of mine is the owner of Homemade Jays. I love when I’m able to support locally owned businesses and how cute is this Pocket mirror?

5. CHICKEN WING LIP SCRUB

Yes you heard me right, it is a ‘must try and buy’ item if you are living in Buffalo.

However, if it is not your ‘cup of tea’ check out her other products.  The awesome  Lindsay Sullivan at EllePeaTee creates these products, so again you’re purchase supports a local small business.

6. SOMETHING SWEET

Who wants just chocolate when you can have cakepops, cookies, cakes and more from the amazing  Buffalo Cakepops? Again a local business!!!

7. A GIRLS NIGHT OUT

It goes without saying ‘Girls night Out’  does NOT include babies in tow. No, this is a girls night, with make up and dressing up, going out, dinner, fun and of course wine.

8. A CLEAN HOUSE AND CLEAN LAUNDRY

I need someone to clean my house and do my laundry, fold it and put it away! Hey a girl can dream right???

9. PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPH SESSION

Yes I think this is a gift of time. Captured time. I can’t leave out a Family photography session or a gift certificate for a session. I,  myself, am horrible about being in pictures (I usually take them) and since I’m horrible taking selfies the only time I love a picture of myself is when they are from a professional session.

10. TIME

And last but certainly not least just simply TIME. Nothing will be as important then special quality time with your loved ones. Time so Mom can relax or even Time so Mom can have some peace and quiet by herself.
